Hard is a French television series created and produced by Cathy Verney, airing since 9 May 2008 on Canal+ in France, and later internationally. The series focuses on the pornographic movie industry. It is part of the "New Trilogy" collection on Canal+.

Scandal erupts when a photo is published of the president with Roy Lapoutre. Her cover story shocks the nation, not least of all the SophX family, for whom life is about to change forever.
The president wants a rendezvous with Roy.
Roy's cousin is against some of the changes they've made to his establishment. Things get awkward having 2 bosses. Jules has an announcement that upsets Sophie. The president is not finished with Sophie's services.
A journalist comes to interview Roy and inspires him to start a cooking show.
Sophie's sister and brother-in-law decide to come visit La Poutrelle. Sophie's arrangement with the president backfires. Sophie and Roy start to feel jealous of one another. Sophie grows close to the head of national security.
Vikash tries to teach the Tantric method to Roy and the gang. Sophie plans an encounter for her VIP client.
The police investigate Sophie and Roy's businesses. Joujou tries to help Sophie find the perfect name for her club. Roy struggles to acknowledge Sophie's nightclub.
Sophie's cell mate from prison comes to be their live in nanny. The police respond to a noise complaint about the club. Sophie and Roy feel a strain in their relationship.
Roy decides that he wants to be a stand-up comedian.
Sophie decides that she wants to turn the cellar into a swingers' club. She and Pierre visit similar clubs to get ideas, but Sophie drags her feet about telling Roy her idea.
Sophie is not pleased with the new apartment. Pierre tries to help by throwing a party at the restaurant, but it turns into a swingers night. Violette wants to run away with a circus.
A friend decides to give Roy his restaurant. Roy's dreams of living a normal life may come true. Sophie goes into labor after VIP visitor comes to the prison. Roy gathers the SophX gang to help him renovate the restaurant.
