My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade Is Dead! (2008)
The Black Parade Is Dead! is MCR's final performance as their onstage characters, the Black Parade. The Black Parade centres around a dying character called The Patient, who reflects on events in his life while he is confronted by Death in the form of his fondest memory, that of his father bringing him to see a marching band. This is based on frontman Gerard Way's belief that death comes to a person in the form of their fondest memory. The band is seen in their Black Parade uniforms throughout the performance, and during the first song "The End", Gerard Way is seen taking the role of The Patient, before tearing off his hospital gown to reveal his uniform.

That was an excellent one.
Purely Joyful Movie!
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
My Chemical Romance is my favourite band, and always will be. They sound just as good live as they do on the albums, and this concert is perfect. They know how to put on a good show, and how to give the audience a good time. It was filmed in Mexico, and I wish I'd been there. The band is spectacular and exceeded my expectations. Ray and Frankie play guitar amazingly as usual, and the now-departed Bob kills it on the drums (miss you Bob!). And Gerard is outstanding. His voice is so powerful and emotional, it just pulls the whole thing together. They also all look stunning in their black parade outfits, especially Gerard ;) The show is entertaining and theatrical to watch, and I'm very pleased I decided to buy it. 10/10 concert footage.
