I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Boboiboy The Movie is the bench mark for The Malaysian Animation Industry credit to Animonsta studio for making this great movie just brilliant,this movie is something that should be proud of I can never believe that Malaysia can make this awesome animation movie. I think this movie is okay and what I like about this movie is the character especially Papa Zola so awesome.But,this movie plot is flaw there are not so many things happen the bad guy come suddenly and it quite boring and the graphics for this movie I think can be Improve some more.But this movie is okay and it's suitable for all ages definitely worth the money.

before i get things started, i wanna tell you something that this movie is totally Overrated (as expected), lots of Malaysian totally in hype for this movie and willing to do anything to pump the rating up (it is very normal in every southeast Asian movie) ,even though it is not a decent animation movie, a bad one if u ask me. It is simply an overly contrived jumble trying out too many comic ideas that eventually swamp the central subject, lots of try hard pixarism mischaracterizes what good animation can be, story-line was too bland very much expected, the animation was so-so. and the Script was awfully written.Don't spent your money on this one, totally not worth it.

As adult you might think twice to watch some animation movie. But this movie will change how you review animation movie in future. I personally feel a shame for being hypocrite in front the kid audiences for trying to restrain myself from express the joy and excitement during watching it. The story line just keep incline from the start and as if there will be no ending on the excitement that you will get from it. Pack with 'Malaysia Puchline', dramatic fighting scenes and kick at the melancholy scene. It bring back the memory how we feel to cry, to laugh even to fight for the cartoon character that we love so much during our childhood. And it is not over praise if saying this movie is better than DreamWorks Animation movie. It won't able to fight with the technology and 3D details but surely it suppress 'Kungfu Panda 3' in term of the satisfaction you get from watching a movie.

We've been trying to create local animation movie since forever but it always fail. So, based on statistic, Malaysian animation industry is a bad investment, until Boboiboy. To be honest, you can't compare this with big studios like Disney and Pixar, but we are heading there. The quality is nearly up to par, the storyline is good, and the dialogue is funny. I can say that this feel good family movie is better than Wreck it Ralph in terms of storyline and it can beat any feature length animation movie which is not produced by Disney and Pixar anytime. Like, not just beat them, it's total annihilation. To make it simple, Boboiboy is a mix of power rangers and ben 10 with a hint of one piece. Trust me, you must watch it. It reminds you of silat lagenda, kluang man and usop santorian. You know, the good old days.
