I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
A fun look at a group of apartment dwellers. Couples, friends, and the new guy, a cute soccer player all interact in a project from Manolo Caro. and of course, Rossy de Palma from all those Almodovar films. and Luis Méndez, who Caro also used in "Elvira, I Will give you my Life". Before the new guy moved in, no-one knew anything about the others, but somehow, the soccer player stirred things up and now everyone knows everything about each other. The good and the bad. and de Palma keeps mixing up a batch of her "special gespacho". Not a lot of action in here, but some really interesting stories. and a fun ending. Some dreams come true, and some don't. just like life. Written and directed by Manolo Caro. Where does he come up with these adventures? If these are all his own stories, he has lived an interesting life. Good watch. on netflix.
